Exploring American Culture（6/26オープンキャンパス予告）

Hello. My name is Taron Plaza and I am looking forward to talking with you about the culture of the United States of America. First, we’ll start by looking at California, my home state. We’ll talk about some well-known industries in California, such as computer technology and film. We’ll also talk about activities you can do there, as well as some famous attractions, such as Disneyland and other amusement parks. After that we’ll look at America from a broader perspective. We’ll look at different areas across the country and what kind of sightseeing and travel opportunities are available. Next, we’ll consider some current social issues, such as gender and racial equality. We’ll further examine the concept of freedom in America in relation to topics such as the coronavirus response and gun control. Of course, we’ll also look at American cuisine and see how it is influenced by a variety of different countries. I hope that, through this talk, we will have the opportunity to think about America and its culture in new ways. Also, I hope that we can have a good experience communicating in English together. I look forward to seeing you there!
