中学21WS【中国語講座】Two Months of Growth in Chinese Class［英文記事］

It has been two months since we started the year 2025’s Chinese lessons and as I am writing this piece I am humming to the Chinese song we learned in class this week. It goes something like this: 如果感到幸福你就拍拍手 (rú guǒ gǎn dào xìng fú nǐ jiù pāi pāi shǒu). We have also learned how to introduce ourselves and greet people. The classes are filled with fun, laughter, and very eager students. This year is my first year taking this class and I am filled with nothing but excitement every time I step into the classroom, not as a teacher, but as a student. I have always been passionate about learning new things, and knowing even a few words of one of the most difficult languages in the world makes me feel proud. Every Wednesday we gear up to step out of our comfort zone starting with greeting our teacher 老师好 (lao shi hao) and with each passing week, our voice has gotten louder and more confident. We are now at the point where we are discussing singing Chinese songs and making presentations in Chinese for the school festival. I am sure moving forward we will be as enthusiastic as ever.
